Publication Design

This publication focuses on observing people’s behaviours in front of the camera, some are snapshots, while others are taken as portraits. The sequence begins by portraying people looking away then looking at each other and finally shows them looking directly towards the camera ending the book with front-on portraits. The images are cropped to emphasize and focus on the faces and expressions of the people photographed. The sequencing is almost like a photographic journey following different people and emphasizing their gazes and experiences.

This photobook was exhibited at NGV’s Book Fair in 2016.
