The Sovereign State of Melbourne
Illustration, Print
The Sovereign State of Melbourne is an exhibition curated by RMIT Master of Communication Design students. The exhibition explores dichotomies that arise between text and image. The Sovereign State of Melbourne explores the concept of an ‘interpretive spectrum’ and reflects on what the limits of representation might be. A collection of students work was collected representing our vision of Melbourne as a sovereign state. Hook turns was to me, represented Melbourne and became the symbol for the flags, bank notes and stamps.
