Sustainable Design Festival
Identity/Wayfinding
The Sustainable Design Festival is an annual event held at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra. The idea for the logo was to symbolise sustainability through interlocking two leaves which when placed together, created a third green colour. The logo was designed to have a simplistic modern aesthetic to suit the design of the building. It was crucial that eco-friendly, natural materials were chosen as materials for the wayfinding system. The wayfinding system was designed to assist visitors through the festival – this includes directional wayfinding and information on event schedules.
